About Our Open Forum Concept

An open forum podcast is a format where one or more hosts, often with a moderator, engage in a structured discussion on a specific topic. It's characterized by a natural, often improvised, conversation between the hosts. This format encourages diverse perspectives and allows for a more collaborative and dynamic flow than a scripted interview. 

Here's a More Detailed Look at What We Do:

Moderation:
Our moderator guides the discussion, keeps it focused, and ensures all voices are heard. 

Co-hosting:
Affectionately called, "The Pitbull", Amelia Balerio Chapman is the podcasts long time co-host and often provides varying & interesting viewpoints and commentary leading to very thoughtful
and inciteful conversational flow. 

Natural Flow:
The conversation is always improvised, creating a sense of spontaneity and engagement for listeners. Even WE don't know what's coming next.

Topic Focus:
Open forums often center around a specific theme or trending topic, allowing for in-depth exploration. While we never have a "set topic" we often have a general idea where we are headed. This keeps us from going completely "off the rails", so to speak.

Community Building:
The relaxed and conversational style can foster a sense of community among listeners, making them feel like part of the conversation. We have an active in-shoe "LIVE" chatroom that is always active and never shy about expressing their collective viewpoint. Join them.
